This painting was commissioned by my cousin, a longtime Angeleno who recently relocated to Georgia. I had a lot of fun with it and I think I will try more urban landscapes in the future.

These paintings were completed in the studio with the aid of photographs taken in the field. My favorite subjects are California beaches, Southwestern landscapes, and dramatic cloud patterns. People, dogs, horses, birds and cows will also sometimes appear.
