Lost on the High Road

These oil paintings are based on two trips I took with my wife and a good friend between Santa Fe and Taos in the summer and fall of 2009. We got lost both times while driving on the famous High Road that winds from the high desert of Chimayo through Las Trampas to the magical mountain region of Taos, New Mexico.
